EXPLAINYOURSELF.

THE RULES ARE SIMPLE

Make your case.

  1. Choose a pack and enter 3–10 player names.
  2. The player named as the reader holds the phone and reads the accusation out loud.
  3. The reader starts the clock. The accused has 30 seconds to explain themselves without holding the phone.
  4. If the accused finishes before time runs out, they say, “I rest my case.” The reader taps I rest my case to stop the clock and move directly to the verdict.
  5. The reader keeps the phone and enters the group’s verdict. The accused does not vote. Everyone else votes. A majority of “You’re excused” earns 1 point. A tie earns 0.
  6. First to 5 points wins. Each player gets one skip per game, before starting the timer. A skip replaces the accusation and cuts that turn to 15 seconds. Later turns return to 30 seconds.

Everything here is a fictional setup. The best excuse can be completely ridiculous.
